Best 3PL Companies in the US for Ecommerce Brands
Disclosure: Locad wrote this list and includes itself in it.
Picking a US 3PL comes down to fit: your product type, your order volume, your sales channels and where you plan to grow.
This guide compares eight 3PL companies that serve US ecommerce brands. There is no overall ranking, because the right choice depends on the brand. Providers are listed alphabetically.
How this guide works
For each provider we cover what it says it offers, where it operates and the kind of brand its services suit. Facts about other providers come from their own websites as of October 2026. Networks and terms change, so check them directly before you sign.

The largest 3PLs in the US
Armstrong & Associates’ Top 50 U.S. 3PLs list, which ranks the largest US-based 3PLs by gross logistics revenue. Its top names include C.H. Robinson, GXO Logistics, J.B. Hunt Transport Services and Expeditors.
That list measures size, not fit for an online brand. If you sell online and ship parcels, compare providers on the points below.
What to look for when choosing a US 3PL
- Channel integrations. Confirm native connections to every channel you sell on today and plan to add.
- Network and coverage. More locations can cut shipping zones and transit times, but only if your volume justifies splitting inventory.
- Product fit. Oversized, fragile, temperature-sensitive, hazardous and regulated products all narrow the field fast.
- B2B and retail. If you sell wholesale or into retail, check EDI, pallet and carton handling, and compliance labelling.
- Pricing model. Ask how storage, pick and pack, packaging and minimums are charged, and get a quote on your real order profile.
