What is Same Day Delivery and Why is it important for your business?
Same-day Delivery or Same-day shipping is a shipping model where the ordered item is shipped and delivered to the customers on the same day. It helps in increased speed of delivery which leads to not only on-time delivery of goods but often before the estimated day of delivery.

It also leads to cheaper inventory and shipping costs, allowing businesses to increase their customer base and help deal with product demands.
How does Locad fulfill Same Day Delivery orders?
In Philippines:
For Lazada Sellers who are eligible for Same Day Delivery, Locad will set the Shipment Type to ‘Same Day Delivery’ for the inventory items marked as ‘Instant’ by Lazada.
In Australia:
For Shopify users, Locad has integrated with a network carrier that does Same Day Delivery in Australia.
Once the orders are pushed into the Warehouse Management System, we allocate a priority tag to the eligible Same Day Delivery orders
- Locad has also configured each of its warehouses to support various “Service Types” including Same Day Delivery, with pre-defined operating hours. This will ensure that we are able to match the Marketplace SLA expectations to Warehouse committed SLA.
How can Locad users avail this?
- Same Day Delivery as a feature can currently only be availed by Lazada Sellers in Philippines and Shopify Users in Australia.

- Lazada Sellers can apply for Same Day Delivery if their inventory is located within a Metro Manila warehouse and Locad can start fulfilling these orders accordingly.
