To make the process of inbounding time and cost effective, brands can now add and edit the Estimated Arrival Date based on their carrier. Enabling warehouses to have better visibility of the new arrival date for manpower planning.
What is launched?
An update to the ASN to help with efficient manpower planning. With Estimated Arrival Date, brands can edit and update the earlier Planned Arrival Date (non-editable) to effectively communicate to the warehouses for planning their staffing efforts.
Together with Carrier Name and Tracking Number that brands can provide in the ASN, this will greatly help to provide such visibility.
Important to note:
- Planned Arrival Date = The arrival date that was indicated during ASN submission
- Estimated Arrival Date = The updated ETA as and when there is new update provided by the carrier
- Retrieval of tracking information via API is not possible at this stage since the brands are typically not using our carrier. Hence, such info needs to be provided by the brand
