Access Granted: Your Guide to Logging into Locad
Start by launching your preferred web browser and entering the web address for https://app.golocad.com. If you have not signed into Locad before, you will be redirected to the sign-up page automatically.
If you have already registered an account with a Google email, simply choose to sign in with your Google account. This could be your Google account for Gmail or other services.
As a part of the Google sign-in process, you’ll be asked to enter the email and password associated with your Google account. Make sure to enter these details accurately to ensure a smooth login.
Once you’ve entered your credentials and successfully logged in, you’ll be directed to the dashboard. This is your main interface for using the website and accessing its services.
Starting Your Journey: How to Sign Up on Locad
If you don’t have an account yet, don’t worry! You’ll notice a ‘Sign Up’ button on the login page. You can also simply head straight to https://app.golocad.com/auth/signup to start! If you happen to find yourself on the Login page, just click the “Need an account? Sign Up” button to begin
On the sign-up page, you’ll need to provide some basic information. This includes your email address, which will be used for account-related notifications, your name, and a strong password to secure your account.
To sign in or sign up, users can either enter their existing details on the sign-in screen or click “Need an account? Sign Up” to register new details. Alternatively, they can select “Continue with Google” on either screen to automatically sign in or create an account, as needed.
The next step involves providing your registered brand name. For instance, if you’ve created a Shopify website called “SampleShop”, you would enter “SampleShop” as your registered brand name.
You’ll also be asked to select your default currency. For example, if you’re conducting most of your business in Singapore, you might choose SGD (Singapore Dollar) as your default currency.
After you’ve entered these details, click ‘Continue’ to proceed. The subsequent page will ask you to fill out a location. This is not necessarily a physical address but a name you’re giving to a pickup location. For example, you could simply name it “Home.” You can check out more on Pickup Location Here >
You’ll then be asked to provide the physical address associated with your chosen pickup location name. Enter your address details here.
Once you’ve completed all the necessary information, click ‘Finish Setup’. You’ll then be presented with the terms and conditions. It’s very important to read through these carefully to understand the service agreement, especially the billing structure, which is typically a pay-as-you-go model.
After you’ve read and understood the terms, click ‘Accept and Continue’. This will finalize the creation of your new account.
Upon successful account creation, you’ll be presented with a pop-up demo. This can help you understand how to navigate and use the website. You can either watch it right away, see it in a new tab, or close it to view it later.
You’ll be taken to the ‘Book Shipments’ page by default. From there, you can navigate to the ‘Home’ page or any other site part.
Congratulations! You’ve completed the sign-up process. You’re now ready to start

Before your account can be fully activated, setting up a pickup location, defining your brand name, and selecting your preferred currency are essential. Importantly, the ‘Location Name’ isn’t necessarily a physical address; it’s a designated name for a pickup spot, which could be as straightforward as “Home” This step is compulsory and helps personalize your brand’s presence on our platform.
